Gonzo
Girl Turned Wicked Contract Star: Alektra Blue Lighting Up
the Screen in Big Films
By Troy Michael
Alektra
Blue came into the adult film industry at the age of 21 in
2004 at the urging of her best friend Taryn Thomas and has
not only built a strong fan base, but became a Wicked
Pictures contract girl.
Born in Phoenix, AZ and raised in Dallas,
Texas (yes, sadly she is a Cowboys fan) has accumulated
nearly 200 films to her credit. Early in her career, Blue
was one of the most popular girls amongst the gonzo elite
thanks to her powerfully intense sexual performances in such
films as Cum Glazed 3 (Red Light District), Myne
Tease 4 and 5 (Fusxion), and Trophy Whores (Evil
Angel).
In less than a year’s time in the porn
industry, the 5’6” Blue earned a nomination and won the
F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment) award for
Favorite Rookie Starlet of the Year. She also received the
AVN nomination for Best New Starlet of 2006.
At the top of her gonzo game, Blue became a
Penthouse Pet in April of 2008 and in that same month the
dark-haired beauty with piercing green eyes inked an
exclusive performance contract with Wicked Pictures.
Since signing with Wicked, Blue has won the
2008 AVN Award for Best All Girl Scene, In 2009, the
electrifying Blue has starred in some of Wicked biggest
pictures including Educating Alli, Gifted, Girl Meets
Boy, House of Wicked, Spin the Bottle and the huge Brad
Armstrong blockbuster 2040.
I had a chance to sit down with Alektra Blue
and talked about being a Wicked contract star, learning her
lines and those damn Dallas Cowboys.
As
Wicked girl, is it like being part of a family as opposed to
working as a gonzo performer?
Well it’s been about two years now and I am
still getting to know people because there are a lot of
people who work there. Of course I know all the Wicked girls
and they are great. We have fun and get along. We hang out a
lot at company events, appearances and things like that. The
only one I don’t see as often as the other’s is Stormy
Daniels, because she doesn’t live out here in California.
You’ve been in a lot of big films lately.
One, being Educating Alli. Did you feel any pressure
being the lead with all the dialogue?
I did feel pressure for that film. That was
my first big script for Wicked, where I had the lead. The
film was basically just me and Randy [Spears]. I read that
script a zillion times. I did everything to get that script
down. I even read it t in the mirror and I hope it worked
out. Education Alli took five days of shooting and it
was one of the biggest films I’ve done personally to date.
So I hope everyone liked the way it came out.
Spin the
Bottle
looked to be another fun film to make. Were you a big fan of
the game when you were younger?
Yes I was. I remember my 13 birthday I had a
big party and played spin the bottle. But we weren’t fucking
we were just kissing unfortunately. With the movie Spin
the Bottle, that came naturally for me, even though I
had a lot of lines, but I did have a lot of sex in that
film.
Last
year also saw one of Wicked’s biggest films to date with the
big budget Brad Armstrong film 2040. What’s your character
like for those who haven’t seen it yet?
This is a really big movie for Wicked and I
am thrilled to be a part of it. It is a futuristic story
based on droids called the sexbots. I play the sexbot - a
robot that eventually gets feeling and emotions. So I am the
new and improved sexbot everyone wants to get their hands
on.
You’ve taken on a variety of characters since
signing to be a Wicked contract girl. What’s your favorite
type of characters to play?
I like playing the bitch, I think I am good
at it, but not because I am a bitch. Even though people do
think I am actually a bitch. Maybe it’s because of the
characters? I don’t know why. I’ve always been cast as the
dominate person in gonzo films. I always seem to play some
bitchy roles with Wicked.
Speaking on gonzo work, do you miss working
in gonzo films at all?
A little bit. I miss the short days and
actually seeing people in the industry. Now I am so out of
the loop with the industry because I only work with a
certain group of people. Before, I knew who was cute and
who’s doing what and who was the “it” girl. Now I don’t know
any of that because I only shoot a couple times a month.
Do
you still watch porn in your off time?
Mostly, I watch Playboy. Usually it’s the
girl I know, who I want to see. I watch my own films. I
laugh at myself really, I don’t get off. I just want to see
what I can improve, where I can get better.
Are you sexual off camera in your personal
life?
Oh yeah. I masturbate every day, sometimes
twice a day. I am married, I don’t fuck every day – I wish.
But I also shoot stuff on my website. So yeah, I am a pretty
sexual person.
What is a sexual fantasy you haven't done
yet?
I want to have sex on an airplane. I want to
do it, but I get too scared I would get caught and arrested.
I’d also like to fuck Megan Fox or have a threesome with her
and David Beckham.
You’ve been around the industry for a while
now and have built up a fan base. What do you think about
the guys getting off to your films?
I kind of think about it when I am making
films. I am image conscious. I concentrate on getting fucked
harder to make my fans happy.n’t
in the adult business what do you think you would be do
I
would be doing…a hair stylist or a bartender. I was doing
that before I got into the industry. I am a little rusty on
my drink making skills but I think I could get back into it.
I really liked working as a bartender.
What do you do in your downtime away from the
industry?
Well I like movies, I like to tan and just
hang out really. I like football. My favorite team, well you
love them or hate them, is the Dallas Cowboys.
What would your fans be surprised to know
about you?
Um…nothing really. I am pretty upfront and
honest with people. I am actually a blonde, not too many
people know that. I think the last time my hair was blonde,
I was maybe 16. I hated my blonde hair. I’ve been dying it
black ever since. I think it was some cruel joke when I was
born a blonde.
