AVN Names Tori Black 2011 Awards Co-Host

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—AVN has chosen reigning Female Performer of the Year Tori Black to join Digital Playground contract star Riley Steele in hosting the 2011 AVN Awards ceremony, taking place Jan. 8 at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

One of the biggest adult stars to emerge in recent years, Tori Black will return to the AVN Awards stage with the cachet of a history-making sweep at the 2010 show, from which she walked off with an astonishing seven trophies. On top of being crowned Performer of the Year, her bounty included Best All-Girl Couples Sex Scene, Best Three-Way Sex Scene, Best All-Girl Three-Way Sex Scene, Best Tease Performance and Best Interactive DVD.

“We could not have made a better choice for co-host of the awards show this year,” AVN Awards executive producer Renee Johnson proclaimed. “Tori is absolutely electric. Not only is she drop-dead gorgeous, but she has an amazing personality. We’re all really excited to work with her on the 2011 show.”

Riley Steele was announced as the awards’ first co-host during a two-day pre-show gala in Las Vegas earlier this summer. While there, she and Black, along with 13 more of the industry’s hottest stars, modeled for the 2011 AVN Awards promotional campaign. Themed “Dress to Impress,” the campaign features all the girls wearing little more than jewelry. Sneak peeks of the ads will appear on AVN.com in the weeks to come, with the campaign fully launching via a freshly updated AVN Awards web headquarters in September.
