THE PLAYBOY
CURSE CONTINUES; FORMER PLAYBOY CENTERFOLD FOUND DEAD
One-time Playboy centerfold Jennifer Lyn
Jackson-Thompson, was found dead Friday at her trailer home in
Ohio.
Jackson, 40, was Playboy magazine’s Playmate of
the month in April of 1989.
Westlake Lt. Larry Stephens said the Cuyahoga
County Coroner’s Office would determine her cause of death, but
noted there were no obvious signs of foul play. Police said
because she had a history of drug abuse, toxicology tests would
be performed.
“Her husband called us and officers found her in
her trailer in Schneider’s Trailer Park on Center Ridge Road,”
said Stephens. “When someone drops dead at 40, it’s unusual.”
In late July 2007, she was cited for disorderly
conduct while intoxicated after she and her husband caused a
disturbance at their home. Police also arrested her husband,
James Thompson.
According to court records, in 2005, she was also
charged with receiving stolen property by Westlake police, but
that case was dropped in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court when
the victim failed to appear in court.
