Monica Mayhem Gets Married to Veterinary Surgeon; Quits Porn

Australia’s most famous porn star will today turn her back on her XXX-rated career in favour of married life.

Monica Mayhem, 32, who has made 400 films with titles such as West Coast Whoppers, will marry a North Shore veterinary surgeon, yesterday identified only as “Jason.”

“I don’t know how his clients will feel about him marrying a former porn star, so I’d best not reveal his surname,” she told us.

The couple met three months ago when Jason was on a night out in Los Angeles with mates.

The then LA-based Mayhem, who had a cameo role in Sex And The City, said she and the 40-year-old immediately hit it off – but she resisted the urge to leap into bed with him.

“I wouldn’t sleep with him for the first few weeks. Then we discussed how to further the relationship. Dating wouldn’t work, not with my job, so he asked me to marry him. I said yes,” she said.

Mayhem said she has given up “everything” to make a go of the relationship, her second marriage.

The couple will marry on a Harbour cruise today and Mayhem will wear a traditional white gown and be given away by her father.

“There are only 45 guests attending and I have chosen a beautiful white long formal gown with one shoulder strap and Swarovski crystal detail,” she said.

“Neither of us are religious, so a celebrant will marry us.

“I just hope we get some good weather.”

The couple will then head to Hayman Island and Lake Como, Italy, to honeymoon.

The pair are already talking of starting a family: “But not for five years or so.”
