For nearly four years now San Francisco native Trina Michaels has been making adult films – over 300 to be exact.

Even though Trina Michaels isn’t a superstar like Belladonna or Teagan Presley, she has been a consummate performer which has earned her the respect of her peers.

The Bay Area native never really had aspirations of being a porn star. In fact it all happened by accident when a photographer put up some of her photos on a website and Michaels started getting calls to shoot adult films.

By her own admission Michaels says she is a normal and boring person who has never (nor will ever) do drugs. She was a loner in high school, even though she sported a 36D chest. She even earned good grades and went to church. 

“I was far from a social butterfly, even though I knew and talked to quite a few people. I was friends with a lot of guys, but, if they were interested, I didn't notice,” Michaels said.

In between the summer of her junior and senior year of high school, Michaels met her first real boyfriend and she lost her virginity at age of 18. Once she got a taste of the cock (literally) Michaels was consumed with sex.

As Michaels started getting laid on a regular basis, the caterpillar turned into a butterfly. She started wearing make up, more revealing clothes and became less shy.

Soon the 5' 6" 34DD-24-36 blonde was taking it in the ass from her high school sweetheart. They don’t know I am doing porn and if they do know they haven’t said anything. It just sucks because I used to be really close to them and talk about everything, but now we don’t talk very often because I don’t know what to say.

Even before porn you had a pretty wild sex life with your boyfriend, who is now your husband. How’d that come about since you lost your virginity at a relatively old age?

Once I lost my virginity, my mind opened up to sex. We just started talking about our sex life and trying new things. He wanted me to have exciting experiences and it has worked out. I have been with the same guy for eight years now.

When did you come into the porn business?

It was May of 2004. It was really by accident. Obviously I enjoy sex and people would tell me I should do modeling or porn and I thought they were kidding. But I did pictures and I got contacted by an agent in LA and now here I am.

What was your first movie and who was it with?

I did Jack’s Playground 19 from Digital Playground. My scene was with Joey Ray. I was a little bit nervous, but not too much.

Tell me about that scene, what took place?

I don’t know what I expected it to be like, but it was…I liked it… I wanted to do it again. When I first signed up to do porn I had already done anal and double penetration in my personal life, so I think that helped when doing my first scene.

My second scene was anal and my fourth scene was a DP, so I moved along pretty fast. Now that I think about it, I wish I would have spaced those sex acts out more.

After four years and nearly 300 titles to your credit, what is the most important thing you have learned about the adult industry?

It takes a strong mental person to stay in this business or it will eat you alive. It is a very tough business at times, but I love what I do and have a great time with it.

What do you think about these 18 and 19-year-old girls coming into the business?

The young girls starting out now, you can tell there in it for the money.  I feel bad for them because they will regret it and look back and think about what have done.

How long do you see yourself making porn films?

I will take it for as long as it will go. The last couple months I feel like I’ve come into my own with photo shoots, website content and films. I really felt on the ball. With directing I feel that I could really open a lot doors for me.

Do you like doing double anal scenes?

I never thought I would do double anal and I have done four scenes. But I don’t know I’ll do that anymore.

What’s the wildest thing you have done in your personal or work sex life?

For my personal life, I didn’t go to a lot of parties when I was younger. But after high school I went to a lot of swingers clubs with my boyfriend. One time we actually met a couple who invited us to their house for an after party and there were five couples there. Everyone was fucking. I wound up on top of one guy and my boyfriend came into to fuck my ass. And the great thing is everyone stopped fucking to watch me get DP’d. It was amazing.

I heard you have a thing for the WWE and you even earned your own wrestling name?

I have a few friends who are wrestlers and they gave me the name Moody Michaels.

Seeing how you are from San Francisco, do you like the 49ers or the Giants?

Well I went to the Major League All Star game this year. I got my tickets on Ebay and I paid a lot of money for them. I got really good seats, eight rows back on the third base side. I do like the Giants even though they aren’t very good.

How was it working on the big Eli Cross epic Upload?

It was really fun. My character has significance to the movie even though I don’t have a lot of time in the film.

I got to work with Derrick Pierce and it was an amazing scene. I am quiet by nature, but in this scene I had to practice yelling a lot along with my lines. So to do well, I practiced my lines for a month before hand. I thought it turned out really well.

You’ve been out on the feature dance circuit a lot. I bet you have a lot of amazing stories. Care to share any?

This club in West Palm Beach Fl, I love them there, it is the only club that told me I could actually do penetration on the stage.

I had a weekend feature there and by the end of the weekend these two house dancers were DPing me on stage. The word got around Friday and by Saturday night the show was sold out before I even went on stage.

I heard a recent story about an embarrassing accident you had?

I was at a gas station and had an accident which left a dent in my car. I put the hose in to pump the gas and went inside and came out and tried to drive away. It broke the hose off and when it came out and the hose hit my car and dented it. I had to pay 80 bucks for the damages to the pump. I go to that gas station all the time and they still give a hard time.
