Sophie Dee Crossing Over into the Mainstream, While Staying w/ the Ole In N’ Out

It took a while for Sophie Dee to figure out what she wanted to do with her life. You see, the South Wales-born Sophie gets bored easily and after working such jobs as door to door sales, waitress, hairdresser, then she started modeling, then did topless modeling, which led to a job at a strip club…and you can see where we are going with this.

The 5’4” 26-year-old entered the adult industry five years ago and has amassed nearly 300 scenes to her credit. With her immense sexual appitite, Sophie has become a fan favorite large in part due to her varied sex acts in such films as “Slam It! Even Harder” (Harmony Films); “Tunnel Butts 2” (Jules Jordan Video); “Texass Tales” (Wicked Pictures); “Wife Switch 9” (Pink Visual Productions) and “Black Cock Addiction 8” (Evil Angel.) 

In 2009, the sexy blonde with piercing blue eyes earned three nominations from AVN for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene – “Squirt Gangbang;” Unsung Starlet Of The Year; and Web Starlet Of The Year for her site clubsophiedee.com. Earlier this year, Sophie was nominated for 2010 AVN’s in Best All-Girl Three-Way Sex Scene – “Storm Squirters” and once again Web Starlet of the Year.

More recently, Sophie has stepped out of her porn comfort zone to do some mainstream work like appearing on the CW's "90210," "Model Ball Internet Show," and will be regularly featured in Showtime's upcoming series "Look," written and directed by Adam Rifkin. Sophie has also earned an acting role in the mainstream independent film "Ricky Longdick & the Golden Error of Porn," where she plays a 1970’s porn star. Ok, so maybe it’s not too much out of her comfort zone.

I got to sit down with the sexy Sopihe Dee and talk to her about her cross over work, her porn career and well, sex.

Tell me about this independent mainstream comedy you are in... 

It was very fun to work on. And the main guy was extremely funny.  I was very excited that I got the part. And it was cool to play myself, but in the 70’s. I’ve seen the trailer and it is very funny, so I am excited to see the movie when it comes out.

When did you start wanting to make a cross over into the mainstream world of acting?

I had never thought about it. It wasn’t something I had thought of doing… but I’m glad I tried it because it is very fun and different.

Do you have any other mainstream work coming up?

Yes! I am doing another movie. It will be a feature horror movie and I have a big part. We will start shooting in the summer and I am super excited!

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

Ha ha, I wanted to be a hooker - damn “Pretty Women” movie. Julia Roberts made that job look so cool.

Were you sexual, like the neighborhood slut growing up?

Yes totally. I think I fucked all the hot guys in my villiage, even some ugly ones. Ha ha. I was very sexual growing up so I knew porn was for me.

If you weren’t in the adult business what do you think you would be doing?

I think I would be a make up artist. I am pretty creative with that.

Have you had any bad experiences in the adult film industry?

Not really. I try to only do things that make me happy.

What would you consider your biggest turn on or fetish?

I like beating guys. I love domination work and I love girls’ buttholes for some reson.

What is a fantasy you haven't done yet?

Oh wow, I think ive already done them all.

Have you ever done anything on film that you thought you would never do?

Yes. I shot gumballs out of my ass and milk too. I did that for Evil Angel, they rock.

Outside of the business, what do you do in your free time?

I like to play poker, I like going to the movies - I watch so many movies. I love all kinds of movies.

If you were invisible for a day what would you do?

 Wow there is a few things.. I would go in men’s locker rooms and I’d like to listen to a few people’s conversations.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I can be shy. I also don’t like reading out loud and I am claustrophobic.

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

Food wise… any thing sweet!! And carbs, garlic bread, rice , pasta.. All the things I shouldn’t be eating. Oh, and I love In ‘n’ Out Burger.. Mmm yummy!
