Sofia Valentine is a 26-year-old porn performer born in Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. The gothic black-haired beauty began her porn career recently and has accumulated a handful of films for the companies Harmony (Ladies of Pleasure), Jules Jordan (MILF Thing 3) and Evil Angel (Eskade the Submission).

The creative Valentine has lived an interesting life thus far, being born and practically raised on a ship to owning her own house at the age of 16. She has blossomed into a fetish-loving porn performer who showcases her artistic side and career on her skin with two revealing tattoos. The dominant art work is a pair of butterflies on her right abdomen, which was designed by as friend. Although that one doesn’t house any significant meaning, the pointed star and “Pornstar” tattoo on her right forearm does. Valentine said she got the tattoo because that is what she is and she is “very proud of it.”

How did you come up with your stage name Sofia Valentine?

I just love the name Sofia. It is a sophisticated name and Valentine is sweet. It’s not a typical name for a fetish model, but that’s why I like it.

What was it like growing up in the Netherlands as a kid?

I was born on a ship and my parents are skippers. When I turned six, I had to start going to school. So, I attended boarding school. On the weekends, I went back to my parents on the ship. When I turned 16, I got my own house and left the boarding school. As I was growing up, I always wanted to be an animal doctor or a lawyer.

What did you do before porn?

I worked as a make-up artist, managed a clothing and shoe store and studied to be a business manager.

How do your parents feel about this new career choice in the adult industry?

My father is not happy with my choice and avoids talking about my work. Of course, my mother preferred me having a normal job. But she sees that I really like what I do. And if I am happy, she is happy, too.

Were you sexual growing up? When did you lose your virginity?

Yes, I was.  I can remember I was 11 and already was playing with boys. When I was 15, I lost my virginity.

You came into the adult business in your mid-20s. How do you feel about these girls coming into the business at 18-19 years old?

I started the adult business when I almost 25, so I’ve been in the industry almost two years now. I think if you are 18 you have to be a really strong person to survive the adult business. It’s really impersonal. There’s a lot of partying with drugs and alcohol. I am sure there are girls that aren’t like that, but there’s a lot of girls just don’t have a clue. You also have to keep in mind if you start this job you will be on the internet/DVD for almost forever! Some girls forget that. 

So far, what’s the best and worst thing about working in the adult industry?

The best is that you travel so much and meet new people. You also have really good sex sometimes. The worst is also the travel, because you are alone in a country you don’t know and missing your friends at home.

Have you had any bad experiences in the adult film industry?

No. I’ve never been on a production where I didn't feel comfortable.

Do you feel Americans are sexually conservative compared to other countries?

I think the Americans would like us to think that they are conservative. But, the reality is that most of the porn is made and sold in America.

You mentioned your love for fetish sex. What are you into?

Well, I don’t think I do strange things. I just love the style of fetish sex and movies with the make-up and the clothes! Sexually, my fetish is simply to be fucked really hard and I like to do a lot of deep throat cock sucking. I also like to be fucked in the ass and doing DP.
