Michelle Lay was born and raised in the Midwestern state of Michigan. She still keeps some of those small town Midwest values, but likes to live more on the wild side.

In 1994 the 5’6” brown hair blue eyed beauty moved out to sin city – Las Vegas. Quite a change from the cold winters of Michigan. During the day she slung drinks as a cocktail waitress and during the moonlit nights she slung herself around the stage as a stripper.

How did being brought up in the Midwest affect your upbringing?

It made me more humble and appreciative of different things that don't seem so important out here in California.  Family and friends are always #1 with me...I also know the value of a dollar!  LOL  I am frugal!

Going from Michigan to Vegas is a huge step, how shocked were you by the difference?

Shocked, but not too shocked!  I stayed and my boyfriend went back to MI after six months.  I liked it...I always felt like I was "out of place" back in the Midwest anyway...Vegas fit me PERFECT!

You said stripping was the first step toward your erotic career and knowing what limits you had? Were you surprised what those limits were and where do you draw the line?

I was VERY surprised that I even stepped foot on the stage the first night!  I was a cocktail waitress for four years at the very same club I started to dance, so I was familiar with the crowd and the employees, but I was still very nervous.  My limits were and still are...Don't do business outside of the club!!  I don't escort, it's not for me!  That's pretty much where I draw the line.

Moving from Vegas to California must have been a big change in itself?

I was getting "Island Fever" in Vegas!  I needed to get out of the dry desert and make my way towards the ocean.

What were your expectations going in and were you nervous?
