New Girl on the Porn Block – Megan Murray

You might recognize porn newcomer Megan Murray from her modeling work under her alias Dollie Deathray. But when this dark sex kitten came into the porn industry from Texas she settled on her real name, but not by choice.

The 20-year-old has a fascination with the dark side and I am not talking about Star Wars. After seeing her in Red Light District’s Don’t Let Daddy Know 5 I had to find out more about this petite pin up with a lot of style and a great ass.

Come to find out Murray is a down-to-earth small town girl who is well read and educated on the arts and life. Murray loves graveyards, B-grade horror movies, latex and high heels. She is also attending mortuary school and will be getting her degree next year. In her spare time the 29A-24-30 pale skinned girl likes to curl up on the couch to watch Marilyn Monroe movies and isn’t afraid of some good ole fashioned zombie killin'.

In her off time back home in Texas, I had the pleasure of talking with the hot porn newcomer and found a little bit more about the real Megan Murray.

Why didn’t you keep your modeling name Dollie Deathray?

Well, Dollie is my alias and I wanted to keep it when I came into the adult film industry but when I went to L.A. Direct Derek (Derek Hay, owner) wouldn’t sign me if I used that name. So he told me I had to change my name because porn fans didn’t like to associate their favorite performers with death. He thought Dollie Deathray was too dark. So I said fine, just use my real name I don’t care.

Sounds like a tense first meeting?

It’s funny because the first thing he asked me when I walked in was “are you going to tan?” And I told him no, this is who I am and I don’t tan very well. So I guess it was an awkward first meeting.

Are you living in California now that you are performing?

No, I don’t know if I want to live in California. I lived in Granberry, TX when I was growing up and it is a really small town, so I am not really a good fit for the size of California.

Have you always had the gothic image?

Yeah basically I have. When I was in high school I never fit in and I never cared in all honesty. But for some reason in my junior year all the basketball players wanted to be my friend and wanted to have sex with me. All the cheerleaders got pissed and hated me, but honestly they had nothing to worry about. I had no interest in those guys.

Was it always like that for you in a small town like Granberry TX?

Yeah pretty much. I moved out of my Mom’s house when I was 17 and I lived with my Dad for a year. Then I moved in with my boyfriend when I tuned 18. If I had it my way I would have moved out when I was 14 because I wanted to be on my own. I wanted to experience life and be free.

Do you get along with your parents or was a situation where you had to get out of the house?

No not at all. I love my Mom to death and she completely supports me with what I am doing. My Dad, he is kind, um he doesn’t ask and I don’t tell. I think that is the unspoken rule we have between each other. He is on a need to know basis.

When you were younger did you ever think that you might become a porn star?

If you would have told me when I was younger that when I got older I would be a porn performer I think you would have been nuts. But as I got in my teens I could see it because I started getting into modeling and stripping. Then I met my boyfriend and he works in porn. He is a cross dresser in the goth scene and he has opened my eyes to so many new and wonderful things.

Have you always been into the macabre?

That all started when I was 12 or 13 I don’t even remember how or why. It just started slowly I was wearing black, was wearing spikes and fetish collars. My parents thought it was a phase like all teens goes through but mine stuck.  

Now you are taking it even further with going to funeral home trade school.

Yeah, I have always had a great respect for death and throughout life it never occurred to me that I could work with the dead as a living. So now I am going to college to learn how to embalm people and doing make up. Facial reconstruction is always fun to learn about and tell stories around the family.

Have you gotten any disconcerting remarks about your schooling from your porn peers?

My second scene I was doing for a website and some people were sitting on the bed making jokes about people messing around with corpses and I got offended. So I told them what I do at school. I am sure there are some sick people, who do mess with the dead bodies, but I want to do a service for people who are grieving over their loved ones and it interests me.

Since you are going to school to get a degree, does that mean you are only in the adult business for a short time?

No not at all. I will continue to do porn. I know I have a good grasp on reality and I know porn has a cycle of girls they go through. I feel like I have caught on really quick and I am going to do my best and I am going to try to out fuck all the others so I can keep getting work. When my porn career is done, it’s done and I know I have something to fall back on.

What were your expectations going in to the porn business and were you nervous?

My expectations were low and when we went out to LA I was hoping to go out there and come out ahead financially. Then we got out there and my third scene I was working with Red Light District and I was thrilled. I worked at a porn store, so I know of the companies and I didn’t think I would get that far. But I know me, I am a big dork. I am not like the typical girl in porn but everyone seems to like me when I meet them and I get hired.

How old were you when you first had sex?

I was 14 and I lost my virginity to a high school sweetheart. He knows that I am doing porn now and he is appalled.

He is probably jealous. Since you are new to the business what are some of the things you’d like to try sexually?

I would like to do some more foot fetish work and latex stuff. I like niche fetish stuff like that. But there isn’t a big call for latex work in mainstream porn films.

Me and my boyfriend like experimenting, so I have tried a few things. We saw some fisting sex and were curious how a whole hand would fit in someone. So we tried it and you’d think I couldn’t do it because I am pretty small, but he got his hand in there.

Did you enjoy it?

Yeah I like it, I came pretty hard.

Do you cum pretty easily?

Yeah, I am pretty sexual so I certainly get into it. I have this toy I like it’s called a Mega Mite, like a Pocket Rocket and I can get off in three minutes with that thing. I love it. Before you got into the business, did you watch a lot of porn?

When I worked at the porn store I would rent some and watch them, but I don’t need porn to get off. I used to look through the magazines more than watching movies. But I thought Pirates was really hot, even though there is a girl in that film I just despise. I will also watch anything with Sasha Grey in it.

Do you do anal?

I haven’t done it on film but it is something I do in my personal life and I figure if I do it at home I can do it in my professional life eventually.

Do you prefer men or women?

I love them all. I was 16 when I was with a girl. She was my best friend in high school. Growing up in Texas there are a lot of close minded people and the chances of a bi girl in a tiny town finding another bi girl in a small high school is damn near impossible.

How does it make you feel to know guys are jerking off to your scenes?

It’s a little weird. Well it’s flattering, but when you go places and you see guys in public I am not used to guys looking at me wondering if they saw me doing porn or not.

Outside of the business, what do you do in your free time?

I enjoy modeling and doing photo shoots. Other than that I watch zombie and horror films a lot. I also love watching Marilyn Monroe movies with a blanket and some popcorn.

If you were invisible for a day what would you do?

I’d push Tom Cruise off of a cliff. I don’t like that man. He is insane and spreading it through the world.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

That I am a video game dork and I am a natural blonde. I could also watch cartoons day in and day out. But I don’t like anime very much. Right now King of the Hill is my favorite. I also love Pez. When I met my boyfriend I was living off Pez, Fruit Gushers and hot chocolate.

Do you have a celebrity crush?

Oh yeah, I love Pee Wee Herman. I own all his movies and television shows on DVD. From what I’ve heard he is gay, but if he was straight I would totally do him.
