Deciphering Porn Hall of Fame Performer Francesca Le

Francesca Le is a 39-year-old porn star who isn’t technically a MILF (she has no kids) and isn’t exactly a cougar (her husband Mark Wood is three years her senior). So what label can you put on this beautiful 34D-27-36 brunette?

For me, labels have always been overrated and consistently inaccurate, but if we must, let’s just call this 5’2” brunette from Los Angeles, what she really is a legendary performer.

The hot Hispanic came into the adult industry in 1992, when most of today’s performers were still in diapers. She retired from 1993 to 2003, but thankfully made a triumphant return. Upon coming back into the adult industry, Francesca met Mark Wood, married quickly and they have been together ever since. In fact, they pooled their resourced to form Le’Wood Productions.

The Le’ in Le’ Wood has been in more than 300 films and directed over 100 films, not to mention raking in some pretty impressive hardware along the way. Francesca took home her first AVN Award in 1994 for Best Group Sex Scene (Film) for her work in “New Wave Hookers 3” with Crystal Wilder, Tyffany Million, Lacy Rose, Jon Dough, and Rocco Siffredi.

More recently, Francesca won the 2005 AVN Award for Best Oral Sex Scene (Video) in “Cum Swallowing Whores 2” alongside Ava Devine and last tear she won the CAVR Award for MILF of the year. If that’s not enough, Francesca is an AVN and XRCO Hall of Famer.

So what do you talk to a porn legend about that hasn’t been said? Well let’s see…

 

It’s been awhile since you came back into the industry…utlimately are you happy that you came back?

Yeah, if I was to retire right now, “F for Francesca (Evil Angel) would be my swan song. I could leave and feel like I have accomplished everything. It’s been awhile since I came back, but it’s been great. I’ve been able to work in front of the camera and behind the camera, met my husband and we started our own company.

Speaking of Mark, upon your return you and your husband formed Le’ Wood Films. Are you and Mark still doing Le’ Wood?

I met Mark in 2000, when I was doing sales at Extreme and we started dating then. We got married pretty fast (within a couple months) and started the company in 2002. We are still doing Le’Wood when we both aren’t performing, which is quite a bit.

With the popularity of the MILF genre, has that influenced your decsion to stick around the industry longer?

No, I didn’t come back riding the whole MILF thing, because MILF wasn’t in the porn market yet. But then it exploded and I got a lot more work. It’s nice for me, because it is easy to get work now and also, I reach a new audience.

Do you find it disappointing that the new girls of porn have no idea who the legends of porn are and what they went through to keep porn around?

Yes, I do sometimes. I mean some of these girls don’t even know who people like Tom Byron is. You mention Savannah to these girls they automatically think of Savannah Samson, which is fine, but the original Savannah was a huge performer at the time, almost larger than life.

I don’t know if these kids aren’t aware or don’t do research… that makes me sound old…but porn used to have this dangerous element to it. Now it’s all glossed over where a lot of girls don’t realize how hard it was back then, even when I started in the 90s. I learned from the girls who were in the industry in the 80s, the golden era of porn as they say, and those were some crazy times.

Not all the girls are like that though. There are girls like Sasha Grey, who do their research on porn and are very professional. She reminds me of myself when I started. I didn’t want to show up to a set not knowing what I was supposed to be doing, so I went to the local porn video store and bought some movies, watched the girls and studied their actions, facial expressions and things like that. This was before the Internet of course, but I also talked to other performers like Jenna Fine and Ashlyn Gere, who were popular and listened to them. It seems like now no one talks to each other.

Do you think the industry as a whole is like that, or just the girls coming into the business?

No, it’s the companies, well most of the internet companies. You show up to work and they don’t know who you are or what’s going on. They treat you like it’s your first time telling you what to do. Sometimes I have to tell them, I’ve done 300 films, I understand.

What girl in today's porn do you think would have been a big star back when you began?

There’s always a girl you shoot for the very first time and you know who is going to be big and who will be out of the business quickly. When I shot Bree Olson, I knew she would be big. Heather Starlet is really good. For some reason she slipped through the cracks. I shot a scene with Melanie Rios and she’s like a mini version of me. There are a few others, but these girls come to mind.

Over the years in porn, you are known for some outrageous sex. I recently saw you in “F for Francesca” taking 22 loads of cum on your face, how was that?

The funny thing with that was when me and Jonni Darkko were talking abut doing that scene, I had a fantasy of doing a bukakke. So, he was like we have to make this happen. This was a year or more ago, so this movie has been in the works for some time. I am thrilled it turned out so well. That bukakke scene is one of my favorite scenes. I was really excited about it, and I couldn’t wait for the day we were shooting it.

If you read my Twitter, you will see I am so boring. All I do is exercise and watch a lot of reality TV.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about Francesca Le?

No I don’t think so. Maybe not sign a contract with Anabloic. I’d like to wipe that from my memory.

How much longer will you be performing?

I don’t know. Every year, I say next year is my last year. I thought for sure this would be my last year, but people keep calling me and booking me so I don’t know. For now, I will keep on fucking.
