When Belgian-native Eva Karera wants something in her life she will stop at nothing to achieve her goal. Coming from a small country like Belgium, the cards were already stacked against the 5’7” brunette, but she worked hard in various countries and ended up owning her own clothes boutique. On a recent stint in the States to shoot some movies, I had the chance to talk with the lovely Eva Karera, decipher the language barrier and find out about the first time she got double penetrated, her guilty pleasures and a fantasy she hasn’t done yet.

I don’t know too much about you aside from your hot sex scenes, so forgive the cliché question, but how and why did you get into the adult film industry?

After school I decided to move to Turkey where I worked for four years and Egypt for a year as a scuba diving instructor. When I came back to Europe I opened my boutique where I was selling sexy outfit …like club dresses, shoes and sexy lingerie. On the side I started modeling in Paris then I continued in Budapest and London, I decided to come to the U.S.

After being owner of this boutique, I realized I was really attracted by all sexy, seductive and erotic things. I was also interested by fashion design and shows. But I was taking care of my clients and it started to be kind of regular job and too quiet for me. I had to deal with a lot of male clients who were trying to date me, to flirt and they were always asking questions about my sexuality.

I didn’t know a lot about porn but I thought I could try and see if I’d like it. So many men were attracted to my boobs and ass so I thought I will try porn out.

Is it hard for a European performer to get work and break out as a big star in the American porn industry?

For an actress coming from a small country like Belgium it is already hard to work and get a name in Paris…because I am Belgian and not French…But I am not a person who gives up easily. I work hard, that’s why after only a few months in this business I decide to come to the U.S.

What’s the biggest difference between shooting a European porn movie and an American porn movie?

American productions are really professional. Even when they are shooting gonzo, they always make you look good with nice make up. You are working with a good performer in a nice location with people who know what to do. It’s a really good atmosphere!

Overseas, you can show fisting and golden showers legally in a film, but here in America, those sex acts cross the lines of decency. Do you feel that American porn laws are too strict?

I will say American laws are to strict when they don’t allow me to go topless on the beach…or when they pull you over because you are driving a bit too fast…but when I am watching American porn movies I don’t think we can say we are restricted.

I know you’ve done a lot of double penetration scenes. When was the first time you ever took on two cocks?

My first DP was in Budapest for the production company Cruel Media. I didn’t tell anyone it was the first time for me because I didn’t want to make them think it will be a problem. Outside of the business, what do you do in your free time?

This business takes a lot of my time which is really positive. When I am not on set to shoot a movie I do a lot of interviews, radio shows, photos shoots. I am working on my new website and I am also training to start feature dancing. I also do webcam shows to stay in touch with my fans so they can see me and ask all questions they want.

During my free time I love to workout. I run a lot on the treadmill and sometimes along the beach. I go to theater with friends and like playing pool.

What is one thing your fans would be surprised to know about you?

I can be really shy and sometimes I have to push myself to meet people and talk with them. I was also a little bit nervous about my first radio show in Los Angeles because I was concerned about my English and my accent!

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

I love going to restaurants and it is also my pleasure to cook for friends and share a glass of wine or Champagne.
