As the daughter of a military father, Belladonna crisscrossed the United States and spent some time overseas as a child. When she was 18-years-old she settled in the Mormon capital of the world - Salt Lake City, Utah. There she became a dancer and thanks to a friend, Belladonna took her stripper shoes and ventured to Los Angeles to get in to the adult film industry.

On her way to the airport trying to catch a flight to Philadelphia, one of the most popular adult film stars is calm, cool and bubbling with personality. Belladonna was going to Philly for a weekend feature dance engagement at the Oasis Gentlemen’s Club. As a girl who started a career as a dancer, Belladonna still goes out often for twirl around the polls and shakes her money maker along the stages across strip clubs from coast to coast. Hell, she even flew up to Alaska earlier this year to meet her fans.

“I feel a strong connection with all of my fans when I can meet them face to face” Bella said. “I feel it’s very important to have that kind of a connection. Plus I am an exhibitionist and it makes me horny to dance for all these people who are going to jerk off to me when they leave.”

It could be said Belladonna is the James Brown of porn. She is one of the hardest working girls in the adult film business. Why did you choose the name Belladonna?

When I was younger I knew a girl named Bella and I always loved her name. Then when I moved to L.A. and told my agent the name I had chosen he told me that Belladonna meant beautiful lady in Italian and that sold me. I later found out that Belladonna is also a poisonous flower and that made me love the name even more.
 

You have lived all over the world, were you a military kid?

I sure was. My father was in the Air Force for 27 years and he retired when I was 12-years-old.

How do your parents, specifically your military father, feel about your career choice?

My father and mother were not happy at first but told me from the beginning that as long as I am happy that's all that matters. Now that they see my success and that I am as safe as I can be and that I am not the stereotypical porn girl they are happy.

You’ve done quite a lot in your career, what has been the most rewarding thus far?

That would have to be owning my own company Belladonna Entertainment and shooting for Evil Angel.

You are one of the biggest porn stars in the business. Did you ever think your career would get this large?

No I did not. But I am so thankful because I worked my butt off to be where I am today.

You’re very accessible to your fans unlike some other “porn stars,” is that a conscious effort to be one on one with your fans?

Yes it is. I am completely addicted to Myspace (www.myspace.com/enterbelladona) I like to be able to communicate with my fans so that I can thank them and let them know what they have to look forward to from Belladonna Entertainment. I love hearing their thoughts on my movies and hearing what they do and do not like. I believe there is always room for improvement and that my company can only get better movie by movie.

A lot of girls who are married in the industry have their men riding their coat tails. How does the support of your husband affect your career and life?

I am married to a wonderful man named Aiden who is the mastermind and machine behind Belladonna Entertainment. My husband isn't a performer so he can't ride my coat tail but we have done some P.O.V. stuff for my website enterbelladonna.com.

Have you seen any change from media or fans since having your daughter?

The things I have noticed since having my daughter are that I have gained a lot of new fans that are into pregnant women. I have people asking me what it is like to be a porn star and be a mother at the same time. As far as anything negative well if there is anything I have never heard of it.

I read you would be interested in being a nutritionist. What peaks your interests about that?

Ever since I discovered I was pregnant I went health crazy and just started to learn about nutrition, fitness and caring for ones self. I am also really into self improvement. I work hard to help myself work through anything I find needs changing.

You’re known for your off the charts sexuality in your films. Is it hard to get that energy up for every scene or with every performer?

The scenes are all so different, so it’s not really a problem. I am really an exhibitionist. Having sex in front of my husband really brings that out in me. He is so supportive too and he loves watching me have sex. I just like fucking and watching people do it. Aiden actually prefers me doing guys instead of girls. I feel really lucky. Not a lot of guys support their wives or girlfriends that way. He is a lot of the reason my company is so successful.
