By Troy Michael
Aiden

in New Jersey. To continue her education, Starr made her way to
New York and New Haven, CT for college on two separate
occasions. During that time, the budding sexy star found herself
helping out a friend in a New York BDSM dungeon as a
receptionist. This led to the adult film industry In 2006 and as
they say, the rest Is history.
Starr
entered the boy/girl world of adult films and has amassed over
70 films to her credit. She was cast in the SexZ Pictures
blockbuster
Upload
and has recently appeared in Belladonna’s award-winning
Girl Train
(Evil Angel) and Hustler Video’s
This is Not the Munsters XXX.
I had a chance to sit down with Aiden Starr and
talk to her about getting the hell out of the Garden State,
working in a bondage dungeon and being a vampire.
You’re a
New Jersey girl, but you don’t have that Jersey accent.
Thank God my Jersey accent is gone. I had one and
it was bad, I mean the total New Jersey stereotype. My voice was
hellacious. When I go back there to see my parents, every once
in awhile we will watch old family movies and my voice just
makes me cringe.
How did a
New Jersey girl wind up in California doing porn?
After I graduated high school in New Jersey, I
wanted to get the hell out of there so I went to college in New
York. I didn’t finish, but I enrolled in college again in New
Haven, Connecticut.
Did you graduate from college?
I didn’t finish school. The first time I wanted
to be a Doctor and the second time I wanted to work in Computer
Science. I do have plans to go back. I liked college and I think
it would be fun to go back and become a Nurse Practitioner.
You
came into the business in your mid-twenties. What were you doing
before movies?
When I was in New York City and still going to
school, this girl I was friends with worked in a dungeon. She
needed to make money with her clients and she asked if I’d come
in and be the receptionist. So, I went in and helped her out.
Well, the customers were asking me to do sessions, so I thought
I’d give it a try. I became a mistress and then moved from New
York to Los Angeles to open my dungeon. While doing that, I did
some BDSM films and modeling for fetish companies.
At some point it became too dark for me living
that life style 24/7 and I needed a break, something different.
Don’t get me wrong, being a mistress is a lot of fun but it is a
very serious, emotionally and physically.
Being you came into the industry
at what is considered a late age. How do you feel about these
girls coming into the business at 18 and 19-years-old?
Well when I was 19, I met Porsche Lynn--she
worked at the dungeon I was the receptionist at. She told me
that I wasn’t allowed to do porn until I got older and went
through real life sexual experience, rather than porn
experiences. She was a very influential in my career and
actually still is.
As for these teenagers coming into the business,
I think every woman has the right to do what she wants with her
body. But some of the girls don’t know what they are getting in
to. I am really anti drugs for teens in porn. They need to know
what they are doing in a porn scene a non-drug level. Women of
all ages who do porn need to respect their bodies. If they are
making decisions while not thinking straight, they are doing it
for the wrong reasons and disrespecting their bodies.
You mentioned going back to New
Jersey to see your family. What they think of your chosen
profession?
My mom is glad I am having sex with guys now. My
dad acts like he disapproves, but sometimes he secretly
encourages me. But for my parents, porn is actually the most
normal thing I have ever done.
How do you mean?
Well, I was a pretty rambunctious kid. I did
anything to piss people off. I was the punk and a gothic girl. I
was a vampire to the point where I had metal fangs and dressed
in all black and did some crazy shit.
I
am guessing that involves a lot of sexual debauchery?
Well, let’s just put it this way. I have a pretty
big scar on my arm to show for my first sexual experience.
Dare I ask?
Well, my boyfriend cut me with a knife inside a
sword cane and we had sex because I wanted him to, not because
he was trying to hurt me. Then, I chained him to the ceiling and
cut his chest up.
You are
very upfront and honest about your sexual life, especially in
some of the behind the scenes footage I’ve seen.
Honesty is very important in my scenes. I won’t
fake an orgasm if it’s not real. Because if I am going spend my
money on porn, I want to see a hot girl really get off. I am
Virgo and have a strong work ethic. I know I am lucky with what
I do for a living. It’s a job, but I know I could be like most
people and have a “real job” where they hate their work and
boss. I love what I do and it would be disrespectful to the fans
who buy the films if my scenes weren’t real.
Now that you’re in porn and
you’ve done some serious crazy sex in your life before porn,
what is a fantasy you haven't done yet?
I’ve never been married. I’d like to get married
for a week to have that. I think it would be fun to be a wifey.
But, I think the novelty would wear off really fast.
Would you consider yourself jaded
towards sex?
Why would I be jaded? I could never get off
enough times in my life. I masturbate every day. And, I have a
Hitachi Wand next to my bed at all times.
So, what would be your biggest
turn on since you’ve experienced so much?
It changes from day to day. Sometimes it is
really silly like someone wearing tight pants with a nice butt
and sometimes it’s something so complex and disgusting, it
scares me.
What’s the strangest story a fan
has ever told you?
Here’s something weird that happened to me at the
AEE convention. A Latin fan came up to me that really liked the
“N” word when telling me what scenes he liked of mine. And that
made me uncomfortable. I am a very loquacious person (some say
too much) and I was speechless. I didn’t know what to say.
What is one thing people would be
surprised to know about you?
I know a crazy amount about fine arts because my
mom was an art teacher. I think it surprises them when I can
carry on a conversation about artists and paintings.
