It’s been five years, five long years since porn performer Gen Padova stopped making porn films.

 

Since she left the movie making industry, Gen has earned her degree as a doctor in Naturopathic Medicine, she met a guy, traveled the globe, married him and moved to… El Paso, Texas. Yes, seriously, the California free spirit temporarily calls El Paso (or as Gen likes to call it Hell Paso) as her home.

 

The funny thing about Gen is she entered the industry just a few months after losing her virginity. She had only been with one guy prior to fucking on film. But when she came into the adult industry, all best were off. With her open mindedness, Gen was ready and willing to try anything, and she did. Odds are if the theme of a film was sucking dick or eating cum, you could bet Gen was in the movie. How are you and how is Hell Paso?

 

HA!  Hell Paso, home is where the heart is. It won’t be long until we’re out of this desert. We’ve been here for a few months now. But we make the most of it. With all the awesome traveling we’ve done, we can handle a short stint out here. The sacrifices you make to be with your hubby being such a bad ass at his day job will surely pay off in the end. J Other than the horrible desert and not-so-great food, I’m doing fanfuckingtastic!

 

 

 

It’s been over five years since you left the porn industry. Tell us what’s been going on?

 

Well, about a year prior to doing my last movie I had an itch to go back to school and do more with myself.  I know it sounds like the beginning of the stereotypical story from most porn girls but it’s true. At the time, thinking I could juggle an education and shooting sounded perfectly easy but by the Summer of 2006 I did my last sex scene for Naughty America in “Diary Of A Nanny. “

 

In addition to that, there was a part of me that wanted to take some time to lose some of the jadedness I developed while in the jizz biz and to experience a more “normal” lifestyle. Whatever normal is. My main reason for craving this had everything to do with the fact that from the very start of my adulthood and several years after I was working within the adult industry community.  And because I got in the industry only months after losing my virginity, I technically never had the experience of a monogamous relationship. So by that time, I was curious and wanted to experience that. Now I can say I have had the pleasure to experience it and it has allowed me to understand myself, my wants and necessary needs as a whole. Experiencing life in as many ways as you can is definitely key.

 

Well I spent all these years since 2006 doing the following:

 

I got to experience the monogamous aspect of a 4-year relationship at the time which later allowed me to realize that we were only great as friends. Which it taught me what I truly want out of a partner.

 

I had a chance to befriend very few and very dear people to my heart. Which before-hand I didn’t give myself much time to make friends.

 

I was able to keep my paysite going and keep in contact with my fan-friends but spend more time with them during my free time as opposed to before where in my eyes I never reserved enough time. They are the reason why I’ve done well enough in the world of porn for not trying that hard. They are the most loyal people I don’t even personally know. And I love that.

 

And I’m sure everyone is wondering what I went to school for because apparently aside from how many buttholes you’ve licked, your education also determines your self worth.

 

So, I became certified in pilates and kundalini yoga. It seemed to make sense to become knowledgeable in massage therapy so I did that. I focused on Neuromuscular Re-education for the most part, deep tissue and ventured into rehabilitative therapy for patients who suffered mostly from sports injuries. For a few years I worked side-by-side with a chiropractor utilizing these methods as well as Spinal Reflex Analysis on professional cyclists, tri-athletes etc. During this time I also trained women not in just pilates and yoga but also trained them in pole dancing “fitness”. Some just wanted something fun and interesting to do while getting a workout. Some wanted to get into pole competitions.

 

Then, by 2010 I finished what was about a four year medical program in Naturopathic Medicine and went onto completing my clinical residency hours.

 

Long story short, I married a man who has incredible motivation and determination. A sense of humor that matches my own and possesses mind blowing intellect that I can hardly catch up with. He’s my best friend, my team partner in crime. You would think we just met or something!

 

I guess I’ve kept busy but this is by no means any reason for slowing down or stopping.

 

 

 

You are launching a new version of your site, what’s so different about the new site compared to the old one?

 

Everything is different! The old site was a forum that thrived for a long time and a members section that involved a small collection of photo galleries and a archive of some of my past work over the years.

 

Now, it’s a naughty playground of both movies and photoshoots I did while I was actively doing porn. There’s lots of content from over the years that no one has ever seen before. You also get content from my everyday personal life where you can get a glimpse of what I do, where I go and where I've been this whole time.

 

You will also find a very involved blog that entails writings of my inner most thoughts and opinions, my daily experiences, my shared memories of the past both personal and from the porno world. I’ll be starting vlogs very soon to go with it.

 

Also, there’s a unique section called Funny Fan Mail where members have a chance to take a glimpse at some of the most outrageous and ridiculous mail I get from people all over the world. (of course they’re kept anonymous)

 

There’s new video footage as well and it will start to get better and better starting this month.

Now that you got rid of some jadedness and you look back on all of what you’ve done. Do you regret anything? Have you felt victimized at any point during your time away?

 

Not at all! All that I agreed to do on screen were all made with a conscious decision with some thought behind it. I really never had a horrible experience. I’ve seen horrible experiences happen but not my own. It seems that if you ask questions for details, discuss your boundaries and make it clear to those that you’re doing business seriously; then you’re taken and treated exactly as that. Otherwise… you get what you give. It has worked for me at least.

 

 

Would you call this a come back?

 

Just because I stopped working for other companies doesn’t necessarily mean I fell off the face of the earth. But absolutely! The only difference is I’m working exclusively for my website: www.genpadova.com / www.generizer.com 

 

 

 

A lot has changed since you left porn. It’s only been five years, but in porn that’s a life time. Are there any girls you worked with in the past that are still working today?

 

I’m not sure. I think most are long gone. I’ve worked with Paris Kennedy and Ann Marie Rios once and they’re still around. Hot as ever! Honestly, I didn’t do much girl/girl work as I should have. Maybe this is my chance to catch up? Hmmmmm….

 

 

 

Along with your website, you launched a Twitter page last year. Was that to test the waters so to speak and see what response you would get?

 

Well I’ve always been a Facebook girl. I like being more involved with my fans. They’re just wonderful people and most of them have been there since my Yahoo! Group, web girl days from over 10 years ago. But apparently Twitter is also the place to be. So I might as well have a Twitter too! It’s certainly no test. It’s better to be part of it all. Facebook seems to be following the footsteps of MySpace lately and soon enough they’re going to belly-up just the same. They’re ruining the goods they once had. How typical of a social network, how dare I expect anything else. LOL

 

 

What does your husband think of you doing cam work and the new website?

 

I’ve always been talking about how I want to go balls to the walls and re-do my website when I finally have the time. The last few months have given me the ability to do it. In that time, we both have brain stormed on ideas, business ventures and all possibilities. He’s extremely business savvy, as I can be as well. This makes for a great team between him and I. He’s supportive of my choices, he is understanding to my porn presence. You marry not just the person of who they are today but everything they ever were before and who/what they want to be. I’m a very lucky girl considering he has his own career that he works so hard at every day and yet still manages to be there at the end of his work day to help me figure out what I did wrong in a long list of code. Which after a while resembles a wall of 1’s and 0’s. ;-)

 

 

 

Will you just be doing solo and girl girl stuff or is cock in the plans?

 

Yes, no cock plans. Unless I use his cock but really that’s for us to keep a mystery. We’ll see how it goes, I may just produce a movie involving some raging hard-ons in the future. The idea is more exciting now that I’m not so jaded by smut.

 

You recently went to see Jenna Haze dance at a club. How was that experience? What all happened and did you talk to her about your reentry into porn?

 

She was performing at the Red Parrot and we happen to be in the area. I figured it had been years since I stepped foot into a strip club and I’ve always wanted to see her perform. I’ve always wanted to work with her also but that chance never came about. It felt right to go and support her, whether it means anything or not.

I didn’t tell her anything about me. It wasn’t my night. It was Jenna’s night.
